Revenue Share Tiers
Genesis Affiliates operates a performance-based tiered system. Your revenue share percentage is determined by the number of new depositing players (NDPs) you refer within each calendar month. The more players you send, the higher your commission rate.
| Tier | New Depositing Players | Revenue Share | Effective Earnings |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 0 – 10 per month | 25% | Entry level for new affiliates |
| Silver | 11 – 20 per month | 30% | +5% increase over Bronze |
| Gold | 21 – 40 per month | 35% | Mid-volume affiliates |
| Platinum | 41+ per month | 40% | Maximum standard rate |
How Revenue Share Works
Revenue share is calculated on net gaming revenue (NGR) — the total amount wagered by your referred players minus their winnings, bonuses, and applicable fees. Your percentage of that NGR is your commission.
For example, if you are on the Gold tier (35%) and your referred players generate $10,000 in NGR during a month, your commission would be $3,500.
No Negative Carryover
This is one of Genesis Affiliates' most affiliate-friendly policies. If your players win more than they lose in a given month, creating a negative balance, that debt is wiped clean at the start of the next month. You never owe the program money from a previous period. This significantly reduces financial risk for affiliates compared to programs that carry negative balances forward indefinitely.
CPA Deals (Cost Per Acquisition)
In addition to revenue share, Genesis Affiliates offers CPA deals where you earn a fixed payment for each qualifying player referred. CPA rates are not publicly listed and must be negotiated directly with your affiliate manager.
CPA deals are generally available to experienced affiliates who can demonstrate consistent traffic quality and volume. Typical CPA rates in the industry range from $50 to $200+ per player depending on the target market and traffic source.
When to Choose CPA
- You send high volumes of players but many are casual/low-deposit players
- You prefer predictable, guaranteed income per referral
- Your traffic comes from PPC or paid media with measurable costs
- You want to reduce exposure to player variance
Hybrid Commission Plans
For affiliates who want the best of both worlds, hybrid plans combine a reduced CPA payment with an ongoing revenue share. This gives you an immediate payout per player plus long-term passive income from player activity.
Hybrid deals are fully customizable through your affiliate manager. A typical structure might be $50 CPA + 20% revenue share, though rates vary based on your traffic profile and negotiation.
Revenue Share Deductions
Understanding what gets deducted from gross gaming revenue before your commission is calculated is crucial for estimating earnings:
- Player winnings — Subtracted from total wagers
- Bonus costs — Welcome bonuses and promotions offered to players
- Licensing fees — Regulatory costs allocated proportionally
- Payment processing — Transaction fees for deposits and withdrawals
- Game provider royalties — Fees paid to game developers
After these deductions, the remaining net gaming revenue is what your commission percentage is applied to.
